Pavilion's History

Established in 2008, 17 separate annual Pavilion funds have been successfully launched and managed, through some of the most difficult economic & resource cycles recorded.

Pavilion was created and is managed by Accilent Capital Management Inc., a professional Portfolio Manager (PM) located in the financial district of Toronto, Canada. The team behind the Pavilion Resource Fund provides portfolio investment consultations and management, flow-through limited partnerships in Canada’s resource industry (both mining and renewable energy sectors), as well as other exempt market products.

Accilent is registered with the Ontario Securities Commission as a a Portfolio Manager (PM), Investment Fund Manager (IFM), Exempt Market Dealer (EMD) and a Commodity Trading Manager (CTM).

We are registered with the Ontario Securities Commission as a PM, Investment Fund Manager (IFM) and Exempt Market Dealer (EMD). Accilent is also a Commodity Trading Manager (CTM).

Portfolio Manager

Dan Pembleton CFA, MBA, founder

Accilent Capital Management Inc. was founded by Dan in 2002 to provide investment advisory services for third party and proprietary funds, individual managed accounts, and structured investments. He has been working in the financial industry as a trader and portfolio manager for over 20 years. Nearly a decade of this time was spent with RBC Dominion Securities in institutional fixed income where he rose to the level of Vice-President Global Money Markets.

Mr. Pembleton is a Commodity Trading Manager (CTM) and Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA) in addition to being Portfolio Manager for Accilent.

Mark Taucar Portfolio Manager

Mark Taucar brings Portfolio Management expertise and an accomplished ability to develop investment platforms and products to Accilent Capital Management Inc. He has developed product solutions for Exempt Market Dealers, Mutual Fund Reps, Independent Financial Planners, Insurance Agents and IIROC registrants. Mark has built and supported the growth of both the Cumberland Advisor Solutions referral platform (for Cumberland Private Wealth Management Inc.) and Croft Solutions platform (for R. N. Croft Financial Group Inc.).

Graham Koehler Vice President, Business Development

Graham has been involved in many areas in the investment world including real estate, residential single & multi-unit sales, strata conversions and mortgage brokerage/mortgage investments. He spent 5 years as Senior Account Manager at one of Canada’s largest land banking firms. Graham also founded a gold & silver bullion investment company.
